Kai Romberg
Kai is a serial investor with 20 years of experience investing in technology companies across the globe, ranging from small startups to multi-billion corporations.
Prior to starting his own investment activities, Kai helped establish HgCapital as one of the leading global private equity investors in technology companies, managing over USD10bn in funds, where he was an Equity Partner and Investment Committee member.
Kai has held various board seats and chairman positions in companies across Europe, including Addison, Computer Software Group, Achilles, TeamSystem, e-conomic, P&I Personal & Informatik, STP, Diamant Software, and ifesca.
With degrees in Economics and Business Administration as well as Operations Research, Kai started his career as a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group.
