Miriam's international professional background includes 7 years of business development and commercial leadership experience in e-commerce (Alibaba) and FMCG (L’Oréal), and 1 year of venture capital investing experience in ASEAN.

 

Whilst pursuing her MBA at INSEAD in 2020, Miriam worked as an MBA Associate in a VC fund based in Singapore, investing in early-stage companies in ASEAN. Before her MBA, she oversaw the business development of the beauty category in the Southeast Asian branch of Alibaba Group, leading a team of 20 across 6 countries. Earlier, Miriam was product manager at L’Oréal.

Miriam holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) from McGill University and an MBA from INSEAD.
